The small enclosure point-source has the characteristic of sound quality but does not have the advantage of long-distance projection, especially in environments that require a higher sound pressure, it is difficult to meet the needs; the Jazz Audio Technology team has specially developed this dual 6.5-inch linear array speaker, tailored for the above functional requirements, a new generation of products.

Product details

The speaker adopts independently developed high-performance neodymium magnetic units. The low-frequency units feature a high-strength aluminum basket structure and an enhanced paper cone suspension system, which optimizes mechanical vibration and air damping coefficient for high-power, high-sensitivity speaker units to the greatest extent; it also significantly reduces transducer lateral displacement distortion. Through clever design, engineers have combined two low-frequency units with two high-frequency units into a coaxial physical structure. Two independent air compression chambers avoid the occurrence of wave lobe effects, and without increasing the power amplifier power, the physical acoustics of a single speaker increase by 6dB sensitivity. Combined with the LC crossover network, the speaker's amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics are optimized to the greatest extent. High-quality full-range music playback can be achieved without DSP intervention, greatly simplifying the system engineer's debugging difficulty.

The enclosure uses first-class multi-layer birch plywood with a waterproof polyurea coating on the surface, allowing for all-weather outdoor use, and the protection level can reach IP56 technical specifications.

The line array speaker continues the advantages of JPRO's physical connection, allowing for pre-set bending angles based on site requirements through the rear connection device and positioning marks, enabling very quick installation and significantly improving work efficiency.

The built-in LC crossover network has a rated impedance of 8 ohms, allowing a single amplifier channel to drive two S6 speakers. For the amplifier load, working at a 4-ohm load state can effectively control the non-linear distortion of the speaker unit and maximize the effective dynamics of sound energy release, which is also the best power matching.
